Haberlea rhodopensis

Haberlea rhodopensis is a small plant suitable for semi-shade in a wall or rock crevice, making a clump some ten inches across and high. It has dark green oval leaves, coarsely toothed and softly hairy, and in spring and early summer bears trumpet shaped
pale violet two-lipped flowers, the whole plant slightly resembling a primula.

I grow this lovely plant at the foot of a rock wall, together with Ramonda myconi, both requiring the same conditions and flowering at the same time, thus making a good combination, and both very easy to grow.
