This linaria, a member of a large family of cottage garden flowers, has two-lipped, sharp lemon flowers and makes a lovely fresh coloured splash among other plants.
It grows happily in my scree garden among blue irises and makes a pretty display. Linaria dalmatica grows with upright stems of flowers to about three feet, is a fully hardy perennial which flowers for many months and is easily grown from seed.
